Responsibilities of the Warehouse Worker
- Safely and efficiently load, unload and build outgoing loads.
- Safely operate facility equipment.
- Ensure staging areas, loading docks and bays are clear of any materials or obstacles.
- Receive and organize all lumber, warehouse products, commodities and materials in a timely and efficient manner.
- Complete all verification paperwork and material distribution into the appropriate bins and storage locations/areas within same business day.
- Participate in and support Inventory and Inventory Control activities, maintaining organized warehouse as well as counting and preparation work for inventories.
- Perform all other laborer duties as assigned.
Requirements of the Warehouse Worker
- Must have strong warehouse and forklift skills
- Experience picking orders, strapping and banding product a plus
- Physically able to perform some heavy lifting up to 80lbs
- Flexible to work 1st, 2nd or 3rd shifts
- Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to keep up with fast paced environment
Compensation of the Warehouse
- Starting salary for this position is $15.74 hourly with potential to earn up to $18.09 hourly after 120 days.

Work duties for scanners consists of scanning bar codes from products and sorting into appropriate bins. There is some lifting involved and requires standing for the entire shift except on breaks.
Warehouse help consists of unloading trucks with pallet jacks and breaking down palatalized product. Delivering product to the scanner lines and keeping the lines full and moving. Some lifting, pushing and pulling involved and this is a very active and busy job!
